The City squad returns to training on June 30th for fitness tests at Loughborough University, then they fly out to Austria a day later for a six day training camp based between Vienna and Salzburg.
No matches are expected to played at this time with Chris Coleman admitting that the first will a practice game against St Johnstone at Warwick University.
"The first day back will see the players put through a battery of tests before we fly out to a training camp between Vienna and Saltzberg," said Sky Blues assistant manager Steve Kean. "Chris and I have used the facility before when we were at Fulham and it really is excellent with pitches and fitness rooms. It is where Real Madrid go for three weeks every summer.
"The boys will be doing three sessions a day, one before breakfast, one midmorning and one later in the afternoon or early evening, which will be a little bit different for them because most people usually just have two sessions.
"Then we will come back to Warwick University to train and play the first match against St Johnstone which will be a split game with 11 players playing for 45 minutes and then another 11 for the second half, just to break them in."
City will use the facilities at Warwick University due to the modernisation of their Ryton training ground. No date has been announced for this game as well as the trips to Motherwell and Hearts. City have played both clubs before, losing 2-1 at Motherwell in April 1993 and the last time in Edinburgh was a 1-0 defeat at Hearts in 1998.
City are also to play a friendly at the Arena against a Premiership side rumoured to be Everton.
