Coventry City Manager Russell Slade told the Press Association that his side did everything but get a win.
Speaking about the 1-1 draw, Slade said: "It was everything but a win and it obviously hurts to concede like that.
"I'll be honest, it's hard to swallow right now especially as I felt we should have had a stonewall free-kick, which the referee chose not to give, just before Peterborough's goal.
"They built up some pressure, but for all the huffing and puffing, my goalkeeper hasn't had a lot to do.
"We defended resolutely and I thought we'd seen the game out.
"My lads are all disappointed, but they gave their all and that is what we need if we're going to survive.
"There were better signs and the January window is going to be pivotal for us. We have things lined up."
