Coventry City manager Russell Slade has emphasised the importance of signing the right players.
City start the second half of the season with a mere nineteen points and with the January Transfer Window due to open on Sunday, Slade told Billie Marshall: “Hopefully we can build a bit of positivity going forward, but it is important we sign the right type of players. We will wheel and deal to the best of our ability but we are a certain level and people know that.
“The type of player that comes in needs to be able to role their sleeves up high and really want to wear the badge with pride, because that is what we’re asking for.
“We don’t want people to come in and feel their way around the football club for six months, we’ll be asking for them to put their body on the line and do all they can.”
