Coventry City manager Russell Slade is pressimistic about the Sky Blues ability to stay in League One after the 3-1 home defeat to Swindon Town.
Slade, who has City supporters calling for him to go, so that preparations for League Two can be made, told the Press Association: "You wouldn't think it was possible after that but when they came off against Gillingham, we thought we'd got an outside chance but that comes down to consistency.
"I didn't see this performance coming. We've probably had the best training week we've had since I've been here but we didn't execute it like we should have done.
"We'd talked about Nicky Ajose - he will find space between you. He's not going to be a threat outside the box but inside the box he is a threat and he proved to be the difference between the two sides.
"They were better than us in both boxes but there was nothing in it until the first goal and then they got the two goals and that made it really difficult for us.
"I was disappointed with second balls and the fact we weren't getting close enough to them and affecting the ball enough, especially in the first half - we did it a bit more in the second half but it was just very disappointing."
