Coventry City manager Russell Slade admitted to what most City supporters thought in that his players were not good enough against Millwall.
City lacked confidence and were made to pay for poor defending and speaking about the 2-0 loss at the Ricoh Arena, Russell Slade told the Press Association: "They know their jobs and they should be concentrating, and we allowed their player to get a run and in the end it's actually hit his thigh and gone in.
"The players have got to be the best version of themselves and playing out of their skin, and as much as we tried today we weren't good enough.
"We lacked that little bit of ruthlessness and quality that Millwall had.
"We're on a horrendous run at the minute and when we go a goal down there are times that we look fragile.
"We're trying to stay confident between the two boxes by moving the ball about but we played too safe and didn't penetrate enough against a strong and physical side."
