The City Chairman said: “I don’t know if I will continue to be chairman. “It is bad practice to make decisions when things are going against you, so I will sleep on it but I don’t see any queue forming for my job and there haven't been for the last three years.
“I will see on Saturday what the fans think and if they want me here.”
“I am not going to change my opinion about the decision I took on Eric Black which I did at the time in the best interests of the club.
“People forget where we were when I took over but that’s their prerogative. I have done everything for this club and given 110 per cent.”
He added: “All I would ask now is for the supporters to get behind the play-ers on Saturday. It is as simple as that.
“We had two superb games over Christmas to impress the fans and try to get them back and it didn't happen.
“But the relationship I have had with Peter Reid from day one has been based on 110 per cent honesty both ways.”
