Coventry City captain Sammy Clingan has said that the mood was sombre in the dressing room about how they conceded the second goal, which saw City drew 2-2 with Peterborough United and drop back into the bottom three following Bristol City’s win at Nottingham Forest.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Clingan who had his best game for a while said: "It is a decent point to be fair as they are a good side and it was an eventful game because both sides were going for it.
"But really, in the dressing room, we are a bit sombre and devastated with the way we conceded the second goal as we should be defending them a lot better.
"The result does keep our unbeaten run going so we can stay positive going into the game on Monday as we are still full of confidence.
"We scored two good goals today and we could have got more as we were getting into some fantastic positions.
"They like to pass the ball about and have a threat going forward. We knew it was going to be a tough game but we were confident about getting the three points especially with our recent home form.
"We have recently got our first away win so hopefully we can go into the game on Monday confident of getting three points.".
