Coventry City still can't find a win after losing 2-0 to Luton Town at the Ricoh Arena.
After the defeat to Walsall, Mark Robins made three changes and dropped Conor Chaplin to the bench for a game on Jimmy Hill Day.
In the pouring rain on a cold afternoon and with the high flying Luton backed by a good support, while some of the City support in the old scoreboard end were watched by a ton of stewards.
The visitors had the first chance in the 15th minute when Cornick dragged a shot wide.
Three minutes later and those close to the South Stand goal were calling for a goal when a Hiwula shot was scrambled off the line by Shea. Luke Thomas, who had supplied the cross, was amongst those appealing but nothing was doing from the match officials.
The conditions were proving not to be beneficial to good football and passes were going astray in a half where City were closed down very quickly.
Luton were the better side and a 37th minute free kick led to a corner and when that came in, Pearson was allowed to head the Hatters ahead from four yards.
Quite a few frozen and miserable City supporters left at half-time and missed missed Jonson Clarke-Harris have a 49th minute effort scrambled away for a corner.
They also missed, Luton going further ahead in the 56th minute, when Cov Kid James Collins fired home.
Things got worse when Jordan Willis limped off injured in the 64th minute and was replaced by Dominic Hyam with Robins using the break in play to bring Conor Chaplin on for Jordy Hiwula.
Luton wanted more goals and had a couple of good chances before the 70th minute as the City defence started to panic.
The City support were not happy and there were chant of "We've had A Shot" as Kelly sent a rare effort over the bar for City who sent on Reise Allassani as plenty headed for the exits.
Dominic Hyam was unlucky with a header that was well saved and although Jonson Clarke-Harris scored a stoppage time penalty after Thomas was brought down, City went down to another defeat.
