Spaniard Linked

Coventry City have been lined with a move for Wrexham's Juan Ugarte. Andy Richie has tried to sign the striker for Barnsley but found his efforts rejected by the Spaniard who scored 22 times for Wrexham last season.

Richie told the Barnsley official website: "We made an offer to Juan and his agent spoke to us again. It was a positive reply but the player wants to test himself at Championship level next season.

"I know that Crewe Alexandra and Coventry City are interested. However, his agent told me that Juan would be still interested in a move to Oakwell if nothing came from the Championship."
