Coventry Sphinx manager Carl Nolan has said that he is happy with the FA Cup and FA Vase draws that the team has been handed.
Sphinx will travel To Ellesmere Rangers on Saturday 11th August in the the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round with the possibility of another trip to either Gornal Atheltic or Malvern Town in the Preliminary Round and then a possible away trip on September 8th to either Sutton Coldfield, Pegasus Juniors or Long Buckby in the First Qualifying Round.
Sphinx have a bye through to the 1st round proper of the F.A. Vase and have a home tie against either Bustlehome, Stone Dominoes or Bilston Town with the tie to played on Saturday 13th October.
New Sphinx manager Carl Nolan was more than happy with the draw saying to the Sphinx website: " We take every game as they come but they are all winnable in my eyes. I go into each game with a game plan to win the game.
"Pre-season is going well and though I have lost maybe 6 or 7 players who want to test themselves at the level or two above, which is a credit to them and what they have achieved last season, I have replaced these players with young and hungry players who in my opinion are more than capable at this level and that want to suceed at this level.
"I am very excited about the oppotunity I have been given at Sphinx and along with my backroom staff Andy Taylor my Asst Manager, Mark Robinson fitness coach, Demeer Vavan first team coach and with Lynton Wilkinson who has been involved in the first team for anumber of years we aim to give our best shot"
