Sphinx Sports & Social finished their Coventry Alliance Division 2 campaign with a 4-1 victory over Bermuda at Sphinx Drive.
Shaun Sweeney's side needed less than two minutes to take the lead when following a corner won by Andrew Stevenson, Chris Harris scored with a shot which flew into the net at the far post.
In the seventh minute, Sphinx won another corner and this time, Jack Cudworth got on the end of a Tom Cudworth flag kick to head Sphinx into a two goal lead.
Nine minutes later, it was three thanks to a neat finish to Chris Harris inside the area.
Bermuda went straight up the other end from the kick off and pulled one back through their number nine who had broken through.
Ashley Jackson hit the post with a rasping shot before Chris Daffern in the Sphinx goal had to be alert making a couple of smart saves including one 51 seconds into the second half.
Chris Harris had a superb drive from the edge of the area pushed over the bar for a corner before Nicky Martin harshly had a goal ruied out for offside.
In the 64th minute, Chris Harris completed his hat-trick when he rounded the keeper and fired into the empty net.
Four minutes later, Referee Pete Maton awarded a penatly to Sphinx after a foul on Nicky Martin. Dave Whitty stepped up but the keeper guessed right and it remained at 4-1.
A foul on Aidy Fisher led to a bit of handbags and three names in Mr Maton's book to slightly sour what had been a good game.
