He told the club website: "The squad needs strengthening and I'll actively be looking to do that this week or before the next Championship game.
"I would say that loans is an avenue for us to go down . I've not really put anything to the Chairman in terms of money and finance but as he said at the press conference, he'll think about any proposal that I put to him.
"I'll see what is out there and available and then see if we have the finances to do anything about it."
