Coventry City have confirmed that keeper Luke Steele has returned to Manchester United after being recalled by the Premiership club.
Micky Adams told the club website: "This is not an ideal situation for us but we appreciate that things happen in football. "We thought we had resolved the problem of only having one senior goalkeeper at the Club but we are now back to the drawing board.
"Our priority now is bring in another keeper to support Andy Marshall which we hope to do ahead of our game against Cardiff on Saturday."
Steele Recalled
Adams has been linked with another bid for Hartlepool keeper Dimitrious Konstantopoulos. A bid from the Sky Blues believed to be around the £100,000 mark and one from Leeds United were rejected by the North East club but City may now have to double that bid to land the Greek custodian.
