Former Coventry City striker Stern John has been loaned out by Southampton.

The cash strapped Saints have been looking to off load their biggest earner for a while and today agreed to loan out the Trinidadian to Bristol City until January 1st.

John also played for Sunderland after leaving the Sky Blues.
