Former Coventry City coach Steve Kean has vowed to continued to fight on as manager of Blackburn Rovers.
There were again protests after Rovers' 4-0 home defeat to Manchester City but Kean has pledged to carry on.
He told The People: “There is always a section that is not happy at any club. They wanted to show that by staying in the ground and putting up banners.
“All we can do is react and stick together. We have done that in much tougher times than this.
“I don’t know what the percentage was today. If the fans want to vent their anger at me I would rather they did that than at the players. I will take the criticism on my shoulders and away from them.
“When it is not going well it is the manager’s responsibility.
“But we need to keep things in perspective. Two weeks ago we beat Arsenal and everybody was happy. We lose today and the fans are not happy, the players are not happy and I am not happy.”
