Coventry City Defender Jordan Stewart has admitted that his dismissal at Walsall on Easter Monday has done him no favours.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Stewart who is trying to get a contract for next season, said:“I haven’t spoken to the gaffer about my future and I don’t plan to until the end of the season until he knows what’s happening budget wise and which players he wants to bring in or let go.
“When the season is finished we will probably sit down and take it from there.
“Getting a red card doesn’t really help me because it’s up to me to play games and perform well enough to earn a new contract.
