Coleman told the CT: We took a lot of fans to Scunthorpe and I felt sorry for them.
"I would like to ask them to stay with us because they are going to be important for us. "They were out-singing the Scunthorpe fans on Saturday and we have got to make sure we give them something back.
"But they are going to be massive for us in the games coming up at home.
They are probably going to see one or two nervous performances.
"I hope they don't, but they may do, and we have to keep them on-side because we need to stick together until we are out of the mess we are in and then bounce on from there.
