According to a number of Freedom Of Information inquiries by the Coventry Telegraph, Coventry City FC are no closer to building a new stadium.
Requests made to Coventry City Council, Stratford District Council, North Warwickshire Borough Council, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, Daventry District Council, Rugby Borough Council, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Warwick District Council, Warwickshire County Council, Department for Transport, Highways Agency, Environment Agency, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, Department for Local Government and Communities, Warwickshire Police, Leicestershire Police, West Midlands Police and Northamptonshire Police, indicated there had been no contact with anyone about the possible development of a new stadium,.according to the paper.
