Chris Stokes has said thatthe Coventry City players are staying strong ahead of tomorrow's home game against Port Vale.
City go into the game having not won any of their last three League Two games but Stokes told Tom Leach: "Training has been positive. Obviously we have came off the back of some disappointing defeats but there is still a positive vibe around the training ground.
"We are staying positive. It is only the start of the season so there is a long way to go and it is always tight in this league. It only takes a couple of goood results tomorrow and Tuesdsay and then we can use that as a spring board going into next season.
"The poor results have just been a case of us not taking our chances, and not just the strikers, it is a team game.
"We need to start scoring from set pieces because we win a lot of those. If we just keep on doing what we are doing the ball is going to start ending up in the back of the net eventually.
"Regardless of who we are playing at home we should be winning the game. Even if we come up against a team that are doing well, the Ricoh is our fortress and we need to make sure that when we are at home we are winning infront of our fans.
He added: "We are fully aware of Port Vale's situation so tomorrow is going to be a grind but on Saturday we will be up for it and we need to make sure we get the three points."
