Former Coventry City youngster Gavin Strachan has been appointed as a First Team Coach at Peterborough United FC.
The son of Gordon who made sixteen appearances for the Sky Blues has been a Youth Coach at London Road since 2011 when he called time on a playing career which as well as City, saw his main clubs at Hartlepool United, Peterborough United, Notts County and Hinckley Town.
Strachan, who studied for a course in Sports Journalism in 2008 which saw him writing blogs for the BBC website, has been taking his UEFA Coaching badges whilst at Peterborough.
Strachan will work with another former Sky Blues in Gary Breen who is also a first team coach with Darren Ferguson's side.
