Coventry City have invited Stratford Town player Ben Stephens to train with them.
Stephens has been banging in the goals, seventeen in all competitions, for the Southern League Premier Dvision side and City have invited the striker, who turned down a move to Banbury United, to train at Coventry this week.
He will then train with Ipswich for two days next week with Stratford boss Carl Adams saying: "Whilst we wish to retain our talent at Stratford we will not stand in the way when we receive the right opportunities for our players thus we are pleased that Ben is being given these opportunities with the latest being at Coventry."
