Striker Deal Falls Through

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman appears to have been thwarted in his effort to sign the striker he wanted.

Coleman had lined up a deal for an international striker with a proven record but the deal has hit a major problem and the deal has fallen through.

The City boss will now try elsewhere in a bid to find a goalscorer for his team who have drawn their last two matches 0-0 and have striker Leon Best suspended.
