Coventry Sphinx are through to the FA Cup Preliminary Round with a 4-0 victory away to Ellesmere Rangers.
Sphinx travelled to the Welsh border and were straight at their fellow Midland Alliance league side.
They took the lead in the 16th minute through Tundy Adajabe and added to that nine minutes later through Jack Taylor to get a two goal lead into the break.
In the second half, Carl Nolan's side went three up in the 66th minute, through Ricky Cutting and six minutes from time a second from Jack Taylor gave Sphinx a superb 4-0 victory and a place in the next round at Gornal on Saturday August 25th.
Sphinx are back in action on Monday night with a home league game against Heather St John.
