Kent based Coventry City supporter James Bowler is running the London Marathon on April 24th.
James is an experienced runner, who had competed for the Great Britain team at U23 level and has an automatic entry due to his half marathon time which means that he will start just behind the elite runners.
James, who is looking for a top 100 finish, is running for the following charities:
Cancer Research, -after both his mum and dad have been diagnosed with cancer in the last 3 years. Thanks in part to the work of this charity they are now hopefully on the road to recovery,
Parkinson’s -James has a close personal friend who suffers from this and the Kent Air Ambulance, an organisation which is largely reliant on charity donations for it's continuation (crazy for the life-saving service it provides!).
