Midfielder Jay Tabb has thanked the City supporters for their backing this season.
Speaking to Sky Blue World, the former Brentford player said: "Since we played Barnsley it has been an anti-climax to what we had created before. "Even though we have put in some good performances, we have looked quite vulnerable but against Burnley we put it right.
"It was important to win the last game of the season. It just gives everyone a good frame of mind to go away with and we have set the stall for next season.
"The fans have been magnificent all season and we wanted to put in a performance for them to say thank you.
"We want to put this season behind us and next season come back and prove to the supporters that we are the right players to be here."
