Geoffrey Robinson has said negotiations are progressing well with the Manhatten Sport Capital Partners consortium led by Gary Hopkins.

In a letter to Shareholders, Mr Robinson said "legal documentation is now substantially agreed whereby Manhatten obtain control of CCFC and provide for investment for squad strengthening"

A period of exclusivity has been granted to Manhatten by Mr Robinson who is the majority shareholder until the end of April 2007. Due Dilligence must also be completed by this end of this period.

The club have decided that they will after taking advice, postpone the announcing of their accounts for the present time and will issue a report and further statement as soon as is possible.
