Former Coventry City midfielder Claus Jorgensen is having trials with Tamworth and is expected to play in their friendly at Leamington FC tonight.
The Faroe Islands international, who scored the first ever goal at the Ricoh Arena, has played for Blackpool and Port Vale as well as non-league Fleetwood Town but is looking for a club closer to his Warwickshire home.
Tamworth Assistant Manager Darron Gee told the Birmingham Mail: "Claus looks fit and sharp and he will play some part."
