Taxi drivers in Coventry want Coventry City FC back in Coventry as soon as possible.
One Coventry based taxi driver told Covsupport News Service that his takings were dramatically down this season on Saturdays due to not having the income from fans, especially visiting supporters taking taxis from the train station to the Ricoh Arena or to pubs before they moved onto the ground for the game.
The taxi driver, a lapsed City supporter, who did not wish to be named, said that he and his colleagues used to be busy after a City game, ferrying supporters back to pubs or the train station or home and, like every Coventry City supporter, was hoping that the Sky Blues will be back in Coventry sooner rather than later.
