Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle has been banned from driving for six months.
The striker who joined City from Sunderland admitted at Stranraer Sheriff Court to driving on the wrong side of the road and forcing a police driver to take evasive action on the A75 near Newton Stewart on September 1st 2006. He was fined £300 and given six penalty points which was enough to get him disqualified for six months.

Kyle also pleaded not guilty to a charge of drving carelessly on the same day and his explanation was accepted by the Court.
The Scot faces another court appearance next month.
