Paul Telfer has walked out of Celtic. The right back who played for the Sky Blues and Southampton had been planning on leaving the Glasgow based club at the end of the season to return to his family home in Winchester.
However, this morning,he terminated his contract by mutual consent with family reasons cited. It is not clear whether the 35 year old will seek a new club for next season or will move in to playing golf professionally.

Meanwhile, Former City boss Phil Neal who also played reserve team football for the Sky Blues could be the new owner of Wellingborough Town.
Neal started with the United Counties League club before moving to Northampton and then Liverpool and was jokingly asked at a Sportsman's Dinner held by the club if he would like to buy the club.
A few weeks later, Neal who had kept in touch with the club came back with an offer which Town's General Manager Steve Whitney described as "an offer we would be daft to reject."
