Former Coventry City striker Terry Bly died yesterday at the age of 73 in Grantham from a reported heart attack.
Fincham born Bly had scored a record 52 goals in one season when Peterbrough won the Fourth Division in 1960/61 after playing for Norwich City.
He joined Coventry City in 1962 and scored 25 goals in 32 appearances before he was sold to Notts County.
After a year at Meadow Lane, he moved into non-league at Grantham Town and played for them from 1964-1970 and then managed them for eight years.
