The daughter of former Coventry City captain Terry Yorath, BBC sport presenter Gabby Logan revealed exclusively to Covsupport News Service that her father is terribly sad about the current situation the Sky Blues are in.
The 63-year-old Welshman, who spent three years at Highfield Road during the late seventies and during that time narrowly missed out on European football when he captained the Sky Blues to a 7th place finish in 1977/78 season, is the latest ex-player to speak out against SISU’s control of the club.
“He is terribly sad about the whole thing,” said Logan, who was in Birmingham yesterday presenting the UK Athletics Championships. “He is closely monitoring the situation.”
“My father loves Coventry City, he enjoyed his time there. I’m so happy that you remember him!”
