Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the underfire Coleman said: "I thought we were embrassing if I am being honest with you. We completely threw the towel in and it really hurts me to say that.
"In seven days we have gone from playing very well against a tough Middlesbrough side away from home to ending the season in the complete opposite fashion to the way we wanted to infront of a great turnout by our fans.
"That result is going to have to sit with us over the summer now because there is no putting it right next week. It's done, it's finishedand I hope the players go away thinking long and hard about that because I know I will be.
