The 52 year old was signing autographs and posing for photos with Coventry City supporters as part of a book signing for CCFC Historian Jim Brown's book "The Seven Year Itch"
Wallace joined City in 1976 from Dumbarton and had 128 starts scoring 57 goals.
He formed a deadly partnership with Mick Ferguson and had three Scotland caps during his time at City before he was sold for a then club record fee of £1.25m in 1980 to Nottingham Forest.
