Coleman and Chairman Ray Ranson have been working hard to try and bring in more new players following the signing of keeper Kasper Schmeichel yesterday, but has found it very difficult to get players to come to Coventry City.
Speaking to the club website, Coleman said: "We're working really hard to bring in some more but it's not easy. There are lots of other clubs who are looking for the same thing. "We've been looking to the Premier League at some guys who have maybe not been playing first team football but I've been disappointed with one or two people I've spoken to in terms of their appetite for football at the moment.
"Some are international players who've not playing at their clubs, they're not even on the bench and yet they're not really looking at coming out to play football, which really surprises me.
"I don't understand players who are just happy to pick their wages up, train five days a week but not have a game to play at the end of it all.
"We'll continue to work hard to try and bring in some new faces and add a bit more quality if we can. The Chairman is working as hard as he can so we're still hopeful.
"We're looking at all areas. If you look at our attack, we've got Besty down the middle, Simpson's there who is inexperienced and you could put Mifsud up the front but then who will you put on the right?
"We haven't really got enough options and heaven forbid if we lost Besty, we need a bit more in that position but I think we need bodies right the way through the team to make sure we're in this division for next season. "We'll try as hard as we can until the window closes to improve in most positions and we'd like to bring in another three or four if we can."
Chris Coleman and Ray Ranson will continue to try and bring in players before the loans transfer deadline closes on March 27th.
