Coventry City manager Mark Robins wants defender William Edjenguele to be a bit more savvy against Preston North End on Saturday.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Robins said; “I think perhaps it’s the Gallic mentality where they feel a bit aggrieved because somebody’s waved an arm or a hand but that’s something he’s got to learn – he’s got to take that punishment and be big and strong.
“You can’t just stand and expect to win it against somebody who’s 6ft 7in and when you’re not winning it you’ve got to come up with something that gives the team a little bit of help. “It’s very simple and something that bright centre-halves have got to do – get tight to him, let him know you’re there, drop off a little bit and pick the second ball up.
“Teams must be looking at us thinking ‘this is something we can employ against Coventry’ but he’s big enough and strong enough to be able to cope with that and be thinking ‘bring it on - I’m ready for it’”
