The moment which City fans dread - the FA Cup third round draw comes around again this weekend. City beat Crewe in the third round last season before losing at Premiership Newcastle United in the Fourth. The Sky Blues are number eleven in the draw which is live at 3pm on Sunday and can be seen live on BBC 1,Sky Sports and on Radio 5 Live.

David Thompson scored for Blackburn in a 3-2 Carling Cup win at Charlton Athletic last night. Dean Kiely played in goal for the South East London based club with Jay Bothroyd a late sub. Craig Bellamy started for Mark Hughes side.

Crystal Palace who knocked out the Sky Blues were beaten 2-1 at Middlesbrough and Leicester were beaten 2-1 at Bolton in extra time.
