Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he got the start he was looking for as the Sky Blues won their opening game of their pre-season campaign with a 4-1 victory at Nuneaton Town.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, the City boss said: "It’s only our first game, but it’s certainly the start I was looking for.
“The lads looked fit in very draining conditions, the passing was excellent throughout and three of our four strikers got on the scoresheet.”
“It’s obviously difficult at the moment because we are short of options at the back but we coped very well against a Nuneaton team who worked very hard.”
