Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that Cody McDonald’s 85th minute goal in the 2-0 win at Hull City, was worthy of winning any game and paid tribute to the 517 City supporters at the game.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "The supporters were brilliant and it was a fantastic day for us, a really mature performance, I felt, it was a professional and gritty display against a good team.
"We knew it was going to be difficult but we stuck to our game plan and stuck to our principles and I felt that Cody's finish was worthy of winning most games.
"It was nice to get that late goal. He has threatened that when he has come on for us and he took it well, he's a finisher."
