Coventry City manager Andy Thorn said that his walking wounded players have been patched up and will battle on at Burnley on Saturday.
City have Clive Platt with a hamstring strain, Cody McDonald with a calf injury, Alex Nimely with a thigh injury, Richard Keogh with an ankle injury, Chris Hussey with a hamstring strain and Jordan Clarke who picked up a knock after getting whacked by Brett Pitman during Monday’s defeat at Bristol City.
Thorn gave his players two days off and told the CT’s Andy Turner: “All the boys who have been carrying injuries are fit to train.
“I spoke to Alex and he’s a million times better and everyone who struggled on Monday will all be back for the weekend.
“It would be really easy for them to decide they’re not fit but everyone has busted a gut to make sure they were out there training to prepare for Saturday because they all want to do it, and they all want to play.”
