How has pre-season gone for you?

Pretty worrying to be honest. 9 new players have come in, most unknowns and they havent really hit it off in friendlies. 2 wins against a Portugese Second Divison side and Buxton dont look good when you lose 2-0 at Bury...

Are you pleased with the signings your club has made?

Only time will tell. Rob Kozluk, Lewin Nyatanga and Kayode Odejayi are proven players in England but the rest have to prove themself.

What realistic are you aiming for this season?

Anything above the 20th mark would be good although Id still take 21st. Id like to see us push for midtable though.

Which player has past his sell by date?

To his credit Simon Davey has shipped out most of the deadwood although Dwayne Mattis and Sam Togwell need to join them.

Have you got the right manager in charge?

Maybe but we have had 12 managers in the last 10 years which says it all really. If he makes a bad start the fans will turn and the axe may be weilded.

What advice would he give him?

Stick to your guns and if we go 1-0 up in the first 10mins dont just shove the entire team behind the ball for the remaining 80 because we aint good enough at the back to protect it.

Who do you see as your key player?

Brian Howard on his day can win a game whilst big things are expected of our new Peruvian striker Miguel Mostto, signed for £400,000 - our biggest outlay in 8years!

Who would you most like to beat this season?

Sheffield Wednesday, we've lost the last 7 at Hillsboro and they usually draw at Oakwell except when they hammered us 3-0 last season... Revenge is needed. Would also like to beat Bristol City to show McIndoe hes not as good as he actually thinks he is!

What's the best and worst that could happen to your club this season?

The best would be a cheeky flirt with the playoffs before finishing 10th. Worst: Manager sacked by Christmas and relegation back to the wastelands of League One
