Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that he has seen signs of encouragement despite the club’s lowly position in the Championship table.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said after the 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest: "It is very close down there and we will be tested to our very limits but this is why we're in the game and we need to rise to the occasion.
"The players, and myself, need to hold their nerve as well as everybody else at the bottom.
"Our home form has been good and we are desperate to get an away win as we have to get as many points as possible. We will approach every game trying to win it.
"I have seen signs of encouragement despite the situation, every day at the training ground for example. When you beat Leeds and Middlesbrough at home, that shows we are good enough.
"It is frustrating to pick up results like that, then come here and get nothing. We are disappointed as we really should have made this game count for us."
