Conor Thomas is hoping that his latest rehabilitation will see him able to resume his Coventry City career.
Thomas was side-lined by a parting gift from Gary Deegan and is now on his third rehabilitation.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Thomas said: "This is my third rehab - third time I have tried to come back since the summer.
"I'm running and doing a bit of ball work as well, so fingers crossed it will only be a couple more weeks.
"Obviously, I have got to be careful not to rush and come back too soon because I did that and it didn't work.
"I feel all right at the moment but don't want to get ahead of myself."
