Coventry City manager Mark Robins has described his Manager Of The Month Award for December as a collective achievement.
Robins knew he had won before City beat Preston North End on Thursday night and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner; "That's not a problem . I found out a bit before everyone else, ahead of the Preston game, so the first game is out of the way. You make your own luck and its not an issue with us."
The City boss received the award for the Sky Blues going unbeaten in December and Robins added: "I'm delighted to accept that award on behalf of everyone at the club.
"The players have performed brilliantly - without them you can't do anything - the supporters have back us superbly and I have got to thank the board as well because they have helped established the players we are putting in the team and I hope we can added a few more over the coming months.
"It's a collective achievement including the backroom as well as there are a lot of people working hard to get us where we want to be, so its an honour and hopefully, the first of many. It means we are doing something right but we have to keep our eye on the ball and continue to do the right thing."
