Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies heralded his side's performance which saw them come back to win 2-1 at Coventry City.
Speaking to the Nottingham Forest official club website, Davies said: "We conceded a soft goal, they broke against us and we found ourselves one down. We had a lot of good chances in the first half and I am delighted with the way we battled and competed.
"We had to defend well in the second half, their threat was from the long ball, their keeper has a very long kick and we had to deal with their front players.
"It wasn't pretty and not the way we like to play but it was a real test, a very hard fought three points and a valuable win."
