Coventry City manager Mark Robins told the media that Luke Thomas appears to be ok.
Thomas has kicked in the face by Lee Tomin who went unpunished by a referee whose performance is very worthy of investigation and had to be taken off on a stretcher which saw the game delayed by ten minutes such was the concern about him.
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire said that Thomas has a bruised eye whilst Mark Robins said: “He took a boot in the mouth but he’s sat up in the dressing room talking away and he’s fine.
“I’m not sure if he’s going to hospital for a check up but he says he’s fine and certainly appears to be OK, so hopefully back involved for the next game.”
Thomas went to hospital and left at 11.10pm and tweeted:
Just left the hospital. Thanks for the messages. Another great win pic.twitter.com/Gs4MkvmFgK
