Luke Thomas has said that his loan at Coventry City has helped him massively.
The 19 year old is on loan from Derby County until January although Mark Robins has indicated that he would like that for the rest of the season if possible.
Thomas, who is into a four year deal at Derby, told the Coventry Telegraph about his loan and future plans: “I think this loan has helped me massively.
“I probably need to stay here for the season, if I am honest, to get as many games as I can.
“But, like I say, if I can go back there and get an opportunity to play at Championship level then I would love to.
“I am loving my football at the moment.
“To come to a big club like Coventry and play every week helps my confidence massively.
“The lads have made me feel very welcome from the moment I set foot in here.
“I could not have asked for anything better from the players and the management team.
“I am enjoying playing every week and I am happy to leave the two managers to discuss my future and we will see what happens in January
“This is helping me massively. I am only 19.”
