Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that Conor Thomas still has a big part to play for the Sky Blues.
Many City supporters felt during the defeat against Brentford that it was time Thomas was given a rest and he was dropped to the bench for the win over Stevenage on Wednesday night.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Pressley said:“We have put huge demands on our young players this season. “ I think it is fair to say that Conor hasn’t quite been at his best in his last couple of appearances.
“He will have a big part to play for the rest of the season and, looking forward, he is a huge part of this football club’s future."
