Luke Thomas has said that he wants to extend his time at Coventry City.
The midfielder is on loan from Derby County until January and has said that he would like to stay for longer.
Speaking to the media after the 2-1 home win against Doncaster Rovers in which he scored, Thomas said: "Yes, I have had discussions with the gaffer (Mark Robins) and I am really enjoying my time.
“We’ll see where it stands in January but I will be looking to extend my loan if I can.
“I feel like a need a full season in men’s football just to get used to it.
“The benefits have been brilliant in the two or three months I have been here and I think if I stay for the season it will really stand me in good stead.
“It’s a great bunch of lads who have really welcomed me and I have a great relationship with the gaffer and the coaching staff.
“I have learned a lot from my first loan spell in men’s football."
