Former Coventry City striker Garry Thompson will be the guest for Coventry City's Championship game against Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday at the Ricoh Arena (12.15pm kick off).
Thommo joined City as a youngster in 1976 and made his first team against Aston Villa in 1978. He had six seasons at Highfield Road, scoring 49 goals in over 150 appearances.
He was transferred to West Brom in 1983 after forming a good partnership with Tommy English and went onto play for Q.P.R, Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa, Watford, Crystal Palace, Cardiff and Northampton before he retired in 1997.
He had coaching and assistant manager roles at a number of clubs including Northampton, Bristol Rovers, Brentford, Farnborough Town and Hucknall Town and is currently working as a football scout, amongst other projects.
